創作理念
我的創作源於對生命與自然的凝視。
當光穿越樹梢、風掠過大地、色彩隨季節流轉，我開始思考：時間究竟留下了什麼？記憶如何塑造我們？而那些看不見的情感，又如何悄悄改變生命？
因此，我以光、色彩與流動的筆觸，描繪記憶、希望、失落與重生彼此交織的狀態。畫面並非再現風景，而是一個承載情感與時間的感知場，引導觀者在觀看之中，重新回到自己的內在。
我的作品經常圍繞著一個核心命題——Beyond the Sense of Time（超越時間）。
我相信，真正影響生命的，不只是時間的流逝，而是光如何穿越時間，在記憶深處持續發光。
時間不會醫治過去，光會。
這道光，既來自自然，也來自生命深處；它陪伴我們穿越脆弱與失落，引領我們重新看見希望、勇氣與完整。
我希望，每一幅作品都成為一個安靜而開放的空間，讓不同背景的人，都能在其中找到屬於自己的故事。藝術不需要給出答案，而是邀請我們停下腳步，在光與時間交會之處，重新遇見自己。
對我而言，創作不是終點，而是一段持續探索生命、感知世界，並分享希望的旅程。
跳舞女孩的故事
「跳舞女孩」不是一個角色，而是一段生命旅程。
她象徵著每一位在人生中尋找方向的人。
有時迷惘，有時跌倒；有時帶著眼淚繼續前行，也有時在光中重新站起來。她的舞，不是表演，而是生命對愛、希望與自由最真實的回應。
多年來，她一直出現在我的作品中。
她穿越森林、光影、花朵與四季，走過記憶，也走向未來。她始終追尋著一顆閃耀的珍寶。
後來我才明白，那顆珍寶並不在遙遠的地方，而是在每一個人的生命深處。
那是真正的自己, 一個被愛、被恢復、充滿盼望的生命。
因此，「跳舞女孩」並不只是我的故事。她也可能是正在閱讀這段文字的你。
當你凝視她時，也許你看見的，不只是畫中的女孩，而是自己曾經遺失、如今再次被光照亮的那一部分。
她仍然繼續跳舞。
不是因為生命沒有風雨，而是因為即使走過黑夜，光依然存在。
《醫治之光》是一切故事開始的地方。
那是一段漫長而艱難的攀登。
一路上，我帶著疲憊、疑惑與等待，不知道終點是否真的存在。
直到有一天，我終於站上山頂。
陽光灑落，微風吹拂，眼前遼闊的景色讓所有沉重都慢慢放下。我第一次如此真實地感受到，生命可以如此安靜，也如此完整。
那一刻，我明白了，真正醫治我的，不只是時間。
而是一道光。
這道光洗淨了旅途中的疲憊，也溫柔擁抱每一道傷痕，讓我重新相信，希望仍然存在。
抬起頭時，我看見天空中的雲，如同展翅高飛的鷹。
它提醒著我，即使走過低谷，生命依然能再次飛翔。
《醫治之光》因此不只是我的作品，更是一個邀請。
願每一位站在畫前的人，都能找到一處安靜停留的地方，感受那份超越時間的溫暖與力量，並帶著新的勇氣，繼續走向自己的未來。
我的信仰與異象
我的創作來自對大自然的凝視，也來自對創造萬物之主的回應。
每當我看見光穿越樹林、風吹過大地、色彩在四季之間流動，我總會感受到一種超越語言的愛與秩序。
我相信，藝術是一份恩典。它讓人停下腳步，重新聆聽內心，也重新發現生命真正的價值。
我不希望藝術成為說服人的工具。相反地，我希望它成為一座橋。
一座通往希望、平安、愛與真實自己的橋。
因此，我並不期待每一位觀者都擁有相同的信仰，而是盼望每一位走進作品的人，都能在其中找到屬於自己的光。
對我而言，那道光最終來自上帝。祂使破碎得以修復，使失望重新燃起希望，使生命在愛中恢復完整。
這也是 Gloria Patri Gallery 持續創作的願景。
願每一幅作品，都能成為一段旅程；每一次凝視，都能成為一次重新與自己相遇的時刻；每一道光，都能穿越時間，在人的心中留下永恆的盼望。

Artist Statement
My work originates from a contemplation of life and nature.
As light moves through trees, as wind passes across the earth, and as color shifts through the rhythm of seasons, I begin to ask: What does time truly leave behind? How does memory shape who we are? And how do unseen emotions quietly transform a life?
Through light, color, and fluid gesture, I translate memory, hope, loss, and renewal into a continuous field of perception. The painting is not a depiction of landscape, but a living space of experience—where time accumulates, dissolves, and regenerates simultaneously.
At the core of my practice lies one question:
Beyond the Sense of Time.
I believe that what truly transforms human life is not time itself, but light—how light moves through time and continues to illuminate memory from within.
Time does not heal the past. Light does.
This light exists both in nature and within the depth of human experience. It carries us through fragility and loss, toward hope, courage, and wholeness.
In my work, I aim to create spaces of quiet openness—where viewers from different backgrounds can encounter their own stories. Art does not provide answers; it invites presence. It allows us to pause, to listen, and to meet ourselves again at the intersection of light and time.
For me, creation is not an endpoint, but a continuous journey of sensing life, perceiving the world, and sharing hope.
The Story of the Dancing Girl
The Dancing Girl is not a character, but a journey of becoming.
She represents every person who is searching for direction in life.
Sometimes lost, sometimes falling, sometimes continuing forward through tears—and sometimes rising again in light. Her dance is not performance, but a response: the most honest expression of the soul reaching toward love, hope, and freedom.
She has appeared repeatedly throughout my work.
She moves through forests, light, flowers, and seasons. She walks through memory, and toward the future. And all along, she is searching for a single shining treasure.
Only later did I understand that this treasure was never distant.
It has always existed within each of us.
It is the true self—loved, restored, and quietly whole.
Therefore, the Dancing Girl is not only my story.
She may also be yours.
When you look at her, you may not only see a figure in a painting, but also the part of yourself that was once lost, and is now gently illuminated again by light.
She continues to dance.
Not because life is without difficulty, but because light still exists beyond the darkness.
Healing Light
Healing Light marks the beginning of this entire journey.
It began with a long and difficult ascent.
Step by step, carrying exhaustion, doubt, and waiting, I did not know whether I would ever reach the summit.
Until one day, I arrived.
At the top, light opened across the landscape. A quiet wind moved through the air, and everything heavy slowly began to dissolve. In that moment, I felt something profoundly simple:
Life can be still. And life can be whole.
I understood then that what healed me was not time.
It was light.
This light washed away the fatigue of the journey and gently embraced every hidden wound, allowing hope to return.
Looking up, I saw clouds shaped like wings—like an eagle lifting upward through the sky.
As if life itself was saying: keep moving toward the future that is still ahead of you.
Healing Light is therefore not only a painting, but an invitation.
May everyone who stands before it find a quiet place within themselves, and feel a warmth that transcends time—carrying renewed courage back into their own path.
My Faith & Vision
My work is rooted in a contemplation of nature, and in a response to the Creator of all things.
Whenever I witness light passing through trees, wind moving across the land, or color unfolding through the seasons, I sense a love and order that goes beyond language.
I believe art is a form of grace.
It invites us to pause, to listen inwardly, and to rediscover the value of life itself.
I do not wish for art to function as persuasion.
Instead, I see it as a bridge.
A bridge toward hope, peace, love, and the discovery of one’s true self.
Therefore, I do not expect every viewer to share the same faith. Rather, I hope that everyone who enters my work can find a light that is uniquely their own.
For me, that light ultimately comes from God.
A light that restores what is broken, rekindles hope within disappointment, and brings life back into wholeness through love.
This is also the vision of Gloria Patri Gallery.
May each artwork become a journey; may each encounter become a moment of self-return; and may each light continue to transcend time, leaving behind an enduring sense of hope within the human heart.

In the silence of forms and colors that defy reason, Jenny Liaoje's works speak directly to the soul.
Each of her paintings is a prayer that takes shape, a spiritual vibration that flows through the canvas like an invisible yet living presence.
Jenny paints not the visible world, but the inner one.
Her hands, guided by faith, create bridges between heaven and earth, between the human and the divine.
There is a light in her works that belongs not only to color, but to the truth of those who believe, deeply, in God.
Her art is revelation: it reminds us that mystery should not be explained, but listened to.
And that even in the abstract, God's love can find a home.

There is a particular category of artist who cannot be understood through formal analysis alone —
whose work requires that we also attend to the life from which it arises, the beliefs that animate it, and the intentions that govern its relationship to the viewer. Wen-Chun Jenny Liao, the Taiwanese artist and founder of Gloria Patri Gallery, belongs to this category. To engage with her paintings is to engage with a practice in which art, faith, healing, and personal story are not separate channels but a single current flowing through everything she makes. The radio commentator who described her work as carrying light, warmth, life, and hope — as transmitting a healing force that goes directly to the heart — was not being metaphorical. For Liao, this is the precise description of what she intends.
The biography behind the practice follows an arc that has become familiar in the contemporary art world but is no less meaningful for that: two decades in the financial industry, a growing inner life that the professional world could not contain, a decisive moment of encounter — for Liao, a touch from the Creator experienced through nature in 2014 — and the resolution to follow the path the moment opened.
In 2015 she left finance. In 2016 she founded Gloria Patri Gallery, its Latin name — glory to the Father — announcing the spiritual orientation that would govern everything to follow. What distinguishes Liao's trajectory from the common narrative of the late-career artist is the completeness of her commitment and the discipline with which she has pursued it. She did not simply begin painting; she built a practice that encompasses exhibitions on four continents, teaching and speaking engagements at universities and community organizations, art therapy facilitation, media presence on radio and television across Taiwan and internationally, and a body of work now recognized in France, Italy, the United Kingdom, the United States,Japan, South Korea, and Switzerland.
The governing symbol of the practice is the Dancing Girl — a figure Liao has developed across years of work as what she describes as the soul dancing toward light. She is not a specific person but an archetype: every person in the midst of life's journey, searching for direction, moving through fragmentation toward wholeness. In Liao's extended narrative, the Dancing Girl is looking for a shining treasure — which turns out to be the true self, restored to completeness and deeply loved. The dance is not performance but response: the soul's natural movement when it encounters love and calling. This narrative structure, which Liao has elaborated across eight chapters and numerous canvases, gives the body of work a coherence that extends beyond aesthetic consistency. These are not merely paintings that resemble one another; they are chapters in a continuing story, each one moving the Dancing Girl — and through her, the viewer —further along the journey from fragmentation to peace.
The work is organized into four major series. The Life Series addresses the fundamental energies of existence — awakening, ascending, arising, dancing. The Truth Series engages with what Liao calls a return to the original — the shedding of accumulated distortions to recover essential being. The Eden Series takes paradise not as a lost past but as a possible present: a state of wholeness,beauty, and creative abundance that remains accessible. The Heart Series addresses the inner life most directly, making visible the states — healing,opening, receiving, responding — that the other series enact in broader strokes. Across all four, the formal language is expressive abstraction: bold, saturated color fields that carry emotional and spiritual weight, brushwork thatranges from fluid gesture to layered density, compositions that have the quality of vision ratherthan observation. Liao herself has described the work as spontaneous creation that arises from closeness to the Creator — not planned but received, each stroke an act of responsiveness.
Specific works illuminate how this philosophy becomes form. Dancing with Heart, selected three consecutive times for Le Salon d'Automne in Paris — one of France's most prestigious
contemporary art institutions — achieves in paint what Liao's narrative aspires to in words: the
sensation of movement, of the body given over to joy, rendered in color and line that
communicate directly without requiring interpretation.
Arise and Shine, also selected for the Salon, carries a different register — more vertical, more aspirational, the composition reaching upward with the quality of something newly freed. Painting of Healing Light, the canvas that Liao herself describes as the beginning of her story, translates the experience of arriving at a mountain summit — exhaustion dissolved by beauty, warmth replacing effort — into a visual field of luminous warmth whose transparency and depth come from layered color rather than literal depiction.
Beneath the Silent Grove from late 2025 demonstrates the lyrical quality of the recent work: forest light filtered through stillness, the abstract rendered with enough structural suggestion that the viewer orients themselves within an atmosphere rather than before an image.
The recent Dawn of Rebirth, The Silent Pirouette, and Serenade of the Heart form a loose cluster from November 2025 that shows the practice operating at full lyrical fluency. The Silent Pirouette achieves what dance most fully means in Liao's vocabulary: a movement that is also a stillness,an action that is also a prayer. The color field generates its own internal light, and the composition holds the eye in a gentle spiral that enacts the title's choreography without
illustrating it.
Dancing with Dreams, the work carried to New York Artexpo in April 2026, brings the signature vocabulary — vivid color, dynamic gesture, the sense of spiritual energy made visible — to the most internationally visible platform the practice has yet occupied.
The multidisciplinary dimension of Liao's work deserves more than passing mention. She is also a pianist, a singer, and a trained dancer, and her exhibitions are often immersive — structured as encounters rather than displays, blending painting with music, movement, and storytelling in ways that activate the viewing experience as a whole-body event rather than a purely optical one.
This integration of the arts in service of an experience of healing and wholeness is not an artistic strategy but an extension of the same conviction that governs the painting: that genuine encounter with beauty is a form of restoration, that art at its deepest is not decoration but medicine for the inner life. The critical commentary of Rossano B. Maniscalchi, Italian director and photographer, writing about the work in terms of spiritual vibration and the presence of the divine in form, captures something real about Liao's practice: it operates in a register where aesthetics and devotion are not distinguished. Each color is a prayer; each canvas is a return to wholeness. These are not metaphors. They are working descriptions of what the artist does when she paints.

四大系列
廖文君的作品主要分為四大系列：
生命系列（The Life Series）

《寂靜旋舞》尤其呈現廖文君藝術語彙中舞蹈最深層的意義：
一種同時是動態也是靜止的狀態；

廖文君從小就對大自然充滿著好奇及熱愛. 在成長及旅居國外多年的過程中， 週遭大自然的奧秘使她與色彩及植物花草產生了奇妙的聯結，多年不斷對藝術的看見及追尋，藝術創作已在她生命中扮演著重要的角色，她的畫作不斷的反映出內在對生命及大自然創造者的讚歎. 雖然先前從事於金融業多年, Jenny對藝術創作的熱忱及堅持仍持續不斷地加增．並於2016年創辦了Gloria
Patri Gallery 頌之藝, 致力於將內心所感受到的愛與藝術之美透過創作帶給全世界.
自2016年始她開始多次國內外參展及個展。 她的畫作被歐美肯定、獲獎連連並受邀參展知名國際雙年展、被國際藝術雜誌刊登報導收藏,在她的畫作裡可以看見那努力不懈的創作精神及她所要表達的啟示。她的創作理念來自於一個跳舞女孩的尋夢心情故事。她的畫作可分為四個系列，分別為生命, 返璞歸真, 伊甸園及心門系列。在她的生活中不斷地激發出創作靈感, 不停止的創作出不同的系列畫作。她將生命的熱情如同火花般地展現在畫布上。廖文君畫作具有特殊療癒效果、創意性、其色彩飽和溫暖、具穿透性及創意故事-跳舞女孩的故事。 每一幅畫作都有其要表達的跳舞女孩生命故事、啟示及心靈療癒。
廖文君 亦常接受廣播電台、平面媒體專訪，談她的創作心得與歷程，激勵人們勇於實現夢想，深受大眾與藝術愛好者好評。她亦成為繪畫療癒講師並引導及開啟學員在藝術上的創作。
她將生命的熱情如同火花般地展現在畫布上，具有特殊療癒效果及創意性，其色彩飽和溫暖、充滿生命力與對未來的期盼。
自2021至2025年間，她的作品屢次入選國際重要展演及獎項，包括義大利，法國，英國的藝術創意獎項及在多國展覽，包括法國巴黎的Le Salon d'Automne，佛羅倫絲雙年展及日，韓，美，瑞士，英國等國。特別是她的作品背後引人入勝的敘事，觸動人心，激發了觀衆情感上的療癒與激勵。
䞬過全球多次個展和聯合展覽，Jenny的藝術作品持續吸引愛好藝術者的觀注。
她的畫作及限量版畫亦受到藝術愛好者的喜愛。
